Great December day for a run. Windy, but 60 degrees. 8.5 miles @ 7:17s. I'm somewhat surprised at my pace lately. While I'm not really pushing the pace, these runs have been what I would consider 'firm'. I'm surprised that I'm hitting this sort of pace given my considerably decreased number of weekly runs and the fact that I'm about 10 pounds over goal marathon weight. This gives me high hopes that I should be able to crack 3 hours at the Bayshore Marathon in late May.
